Food and drinks together again transfer in Central New York

Syracuse, NY-this blog celebrated its first anniversary with last week but no sounds with one change you may have noticed: when you fire it up, you'll see the newly-named Food & drinks, not only drinks. There are several new categories named "food" and "food".

Why? Blog created several months before the soft drinks I became officially Post author food-drink-Standard and syracuse.com.I saved my blogging on beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, while placing items on food and food is some of our other blogs.(Was-and still can't find any posts--the food, drink, food at one point in www.syracuse.com/food)

In short, I'm going to blog about this now all in one place you can still select. What do you want to read about by clicking on the categories on the left. If you are concerned about the only beer – I know some of you are like that – click on the category of beer.

But I think many people agree that food, wine, beer, etc. should be linked. many of us cannot imagine drinking without food, or vice versa. This is all part of a great dining experience, if you're eating out or cooking at home.

Therefore, there is an evening of beer or wine and food-food that so many are popping up all over Central New York.

And that's a good excuse as I remind you all food and drinks a special event that I participate in it. to answer the question: what goes good ?????? with food – beer or wine?

On 22 February, you'll get a chance to compare side by side with a five-course dinner with wine and beer at Onondaga seasons Inn, and Seneca Turnpike West-4311.Cost per person, required 80. call 492-4001. it begins at 6 p.m.

You can view the beers, while Jennifer Gutierrez of wine brands present wines. examples of paired with dishes made by Brad visa, Carol Marino-Visa's Inn seasons.

Adjustments include Belgian Duvel beer with the Syrah, Italian sausage between white and Escarole Ommegang Abbey beer; and pendulum black Angus filet mignon and a roast, risotto; the black chocolate Stout of Brooklyn, Riesling baked pudding chocolate bloom, mascarpone cream.(See more about the poster above).

Bon Appetit, and joy

Don
